Assembler

What You'll Do: - Assemble company product lines (hoses, valves, and couplings) following standard operating procedures (SOPs), shop orders, and work instructions. - Safely operate power tools and machinery, including hand drills, grinders, drill presses, and hydraulic presses. - Grind rudders and other hardware for secondary machining operations.

Use bead blast equipment to ensure finished goods meet high-quality standards. Mark parts using pin stampers, laser marking, etc. - Transport raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility using hand trucks, dollies, and shop carts. - Consistently and accurately complete job paperwork in the computer system to maintain part counts and traceability. - Participate in ongoing on-the-job training to achieve the cross-training needs of the department.

What We're Looking For: - High School Diploma, GED, or Trade School equivalent required. - 1-2 years of prior assembly work (e.g., manufacturing, mechanical, or retail assembly) is preferred but not required. - Basic mechanical aptitude. Ability to do basic math, including computing ratios and percentages. Experience reading blueprints is a major plus! - Strong communication skills (ability to ask questions and listen actively). - Must be highly detail-oriented, enthusiastic, and willing to learn new skills.

Capable of working with minimal instruction once proficient. - Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. - Work well within a fast-paced, collaborative shop environment. Note: Steel-toe shoes are required on the shop floor.
