Piping Superintendent

In this role, you will direct and organize direct hire work including planning, safety, quality and technical activities on a complex project. As field supervision you will ensure direct hire work is planned to coincide with the overall project schedule, work methods are executed safely with quality, and the work is within budget. #LI-CL1

- Supervise and ensure all work is executed safely. - Enforces policies, procedures and related work rules as established by field construction management. - Coordinates all tools, materials, and equipment are available as required for a safe, efficient, and quality installation. - Supervise and ensure direct hire work is planned to coincide with the overall schedule and budget. - Monitors installation of materials and equipment to assure conformance with drawings, specifications, vendor, and other

requirements - Supports Construction Field Engineers, and Craft Professionals, in interpreting Engineering design documents, vendor documents, and other technical documents - Coordinates engineering solutions with Field Engineering and Craft Professionals.

- Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience [OR] 12-14 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.

- Owns safe, high-quality piping execution with expert knowledge of piping installation, welding, NDE, hydrotesting, flushing, reinstatement, and turnover, with strict adherence to specs and codes. - Drives piping work using AWP-plans by system and test boundary, manages constraints, sequences supports -> install -> weld -> test -> reinstate, and protects system completions. - Leads piping Craft Professional, sets production targets, enforces standards, resolves field issues quickly, and develops Craft Professional Field Supervisors. - Controls productivity and rework, understands weld rates, spool readiness, material flow, and fit-up quality; attacks bottlenecks before they hit schedule or cost. - Integrates across disciplines by coordinating with structural, mechanical, electrical, and commissioning to avoid clashes, enable access, and support clean turnover.
