As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Driver Patrol in Reston, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment through outstanding customer service and communication.

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, perimeter areas, parking locations, and access points, reporting unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas by verifying credentials, observing visitor and contractor activity, and documenting entries as required by site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and notification protocols.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports on patrol activity, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns to support Allied Universal and site leadership.

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
