Enterprise-scale collaboration and service management processes are complex and require unified, automated tooling to maintain momentum. This role addresses these challenges by driving the design, optimization, and administration of our Atlassian product portfolio, including Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management (JSM).
By implementing Atlassian Intelligence and automations, the administrator will eliminate process bottlenecks and manual reporting workflows across diverse business units. Ultimately, this position bridges the gap between technical infrastructure stability and high-growth enterprise scalability.
- Own the global administration, configuration, and security of Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management to meet enterprise service level agreements (SLAs) for system availability
- Integrate and leverage Atlassian Intelligence (AI) and Rovo to optimize workflow searchability, automate routine communication, and drive AI-assisted productivity across the enterprise
- Collaborate with cross-functional business partners to design and build custom workflows, REST APIs, permission schemes, and automated processes that align with department key performance indicators and OKRs
- Champion best-practice standards across all Atlassian instances to maintain system integrity, reduce technical debt, and ensure seamless system migrations and infrastructure maintenance
- Train and onboard diverse teams and external vendors into the Atlassian ecosystem, facilitating agile ceremonies through standardized Scrum and Kanban configurations
- Expert-level proficiency in managing, migrating, and upgrading large-scale enterprise Atlassian instances including Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management
- Advanced technical competency in utilizing Jira Query Language (JQL), building custom REST APIs for data extraction, and integrating complex third-party add-ons
- Proven ability to apply AI literacy and innovation through the practical application of Atlassian Intelligence, Rovo, or similar generative AI tools to enhance system functionality
- Critical experience leading process efficiency discussions with multi-disciplinary stakeholders and translating complex business problems into elegant, scalable technical solutions
- Deep conceptual and practical understanding of Agile frameworks, specifically Scrum and Kanban, to align workflow architecture with organizational project delivery methods
- Strong collaboration, decision-making, and communication skills necessary to support global teams and coordinate closely with third-party vendors
- Atlassian Certified Professional credentials (such as ACP-120, ACP-620, or equivalent)
- Experience collaborating with global teams and managing third-party contractors or vendors
- Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related technical discipline
- Minimum Experience: 4 years of experience in an Atlassian Administrator or highly similar systems administration role
- Required Technical Skills: Must have at least 4 years of experience with:
- Enterprise Jira and Confluence administration (workflows, schemes, permissions)
- Jira Service Management (JSM) and building custom REST APIs
- Jira Query Language (JQL) and implementing third-party plugins/add-ons
