Full job description

We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and dedication to positively impact safe spaceflight. Passion for our mission and vision is required!

- Design, develop, and execute training for the ops controllers, engineering support, AI&T, launch services operators, and payload customers for all vehicles within the In-Space System program. Training modalities will include lessons, hands-on events, and on-site rehearsals. - Lead specific training areas or initiatives and take direction from senior staff. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers representing flight vehicle systems, ground software, flight control operators, and payload customers when developing training to ensure it is relevant and supports successful mission support. - Run the simulator and training assets as needed for hands-on, practice, and rehearsal events. - Define requirements and support development of future training simulators, interfaces, and other training assets. - Evaluate console operator proficiency and currency for mission support; develop ad hoc and contingency training as needed. - Maintain accurate records of operator training completion.

- Minimum of a B.S in engineering, education, or equivalent - 5 years of experience in developing and executing training for mission support operators and engineers in a space oriented, military, or government environment - Strong facilitation and communication skills to lead technical training and debriefs Experience writing training course materials (lesson objective and plans, evaluation criteria, hands-on training activities) - Ability to travel to support training activities as needed.

Typically, - Ability to support varied workday hours. Training may be required off hours or in shifts to accommodate time zones and work schedules. On-call support may also be required - Self-starter with strong coordination skills that is comfortable working programs with varying training needs.

Must be able to initiate, track, manage and prioritize multiple simultaneous tasks and jobs - A consistent track record of working optimally with a multi-disciplinary team, and building strong working relationships within the organization and across multiple groups - Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion - Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum

- M.S. in Engineering, education, or equivalent - 7+ years of experience in developing and executing training for mission support operators and engineers in a space oriented, military, or government environment - Experience supporting mission operations (e.g., console ops, spacecraft/ground systems) - Experience with Fox Training Management System or other TMS. - Experience defining requirements for and integrating simulators or other training assets. - Experience defining and tracking training effectiveness metrics and continuously improve training content over time - Excellent digital literacy with the ability to learn and apply new software tools as required

Base Pay Range for: CO applicants is $119,814.00 - $167,738.55
