Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, municipal site policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, public concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government buildings, public areas, parking areas, and site perimeters to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
Document patrol activity and incidents accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervisors, designated site personnel, and/or emergency responders.
Minimum Requirements:
Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
