Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Operate screening equipment and conduct inspections of persons, bags, packages, and other authorized items in accordance with established procedures.
Verify identification, credentials, and authorization for entry to restricted areas; maintain visitor logs and issue access credentials as directed.
Respond to incidents, prohibited-item findings, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, entry points, and surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or armed security-related experience or a college degree in criminal justice.
Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Guard card is required.
CPR certification is preferred.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
