Student Worker/ Work Study- Quad Cities- Hawk's Cupboard food pantry

Duties and Responsibilities Include: * Helping unload truck from River Bend Food Bank delivery * Packing bags with groceries for drive up events * Stocking food pantry * Keeping inventory of needed/wanted items * Working with the pantry captain to order from River Bend * Checking in students/employees utilizing the food pantry * Ensuring new visitors complete a registration sheet * Organizing the Hawk's Cupboard as needed following pantry dates * Holding open pantry hours to allow for better access of non-perishable goods * Assisting with any drives that are planned * Ensuring that marketing is placed in appropriate places on campus and keeping related marketing up to date. * Other assigned duties * Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis Education & Experience All majors welcome to apply. * Current BHC student * Customer Service/Ability to work with the public Other skills/experience may be requested or specified by the department and/or hiring manager at BHC.

Must be able to: * Maintain confidentiality * Be sensitive to needs of those utilizing the pantry * Be organized * Be a self-started * Able to work with limited supervision * Ability to work a flexible schedule desired Supplemental Information The supervisor or hiring manager of a department or area at BHC will review applications and contact you should they wish to schedule an interview.

Anyone hired for Work Study positions at BHC will be required to complete an online employment application, a background check, and required paperwork with the Human Resources Department within 3 days of hire.
