Job Summary: The Digital Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing preventative maintenance and repair of existing LED Billboards and related components including but not limited to troubleshooting/diagnostics, maintenance, support of network hardware/software, and communication links in support of our advertising clients.
- Responsible for troubleshooting digital display products, systems, and processes and accurately diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair these systems in timely and quality-conscious manner.
- Climb billboard structures, working at heights of up to 200’ for extended periods.
- Utilize appropriate systems, mobile applications to open, close tickets and track work.
- Work with high/low voltage power distribution and data communication/networking.
- Analyze problems, communicate with Manager, and network operations center.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
- Operation of aerial lift equipment.
- Install Out of Home (OOH) advertising copy on an auxiliary basis to assist Static Install Crew.
- Maintain and keep track of warehouse inventory.
- Shipping and receiving tools and parts associated with LED Billboards
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma, or equivalent combination of education, training, experience, or military experience.
- Working knowledge of electrical skills and techniques and an understanding of electrical requirements for wiring general signage.
- Experience safely utilizing construction tools / equipment and working on digital displays or electronics, strongly preferred.
- Experience with computers, networks, communications gear, and other electronic components.
- Able to work independently and in a team environment.
- Able to complete appropriate documentation and reports.
- Able to operate with tools and carry ladders in a safe and effective manner.
- Competent in Microsoft software applications (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
