Full job description

Job Summary: Clear Channel Outdoor (CCO) has developed an industry-leading platform (RADAR) that provides data-driven audience insights and measurement for out-of-home (OOH) campaigns. We are looking for a detail-oriented and business-minded Analytics Engineer to join the RADAR Data Products team. In this role, you will sit at the intersection of data engineering and business intelligence, building the models, pipelines, and dashboards that power strategic decisions across the organization.

You will partner closely with cross-functional teams spanning Product, Engineering, and Sales to transform raw data into reliable, decision-ready insights - with a keen eye for transforming and automating process along the way. Job Responsibilities Develop and maintain knowledge of the media landscape (particularly OOH), advertising trends, and RADAR Data Platform capabilities to better contextualize RADAR's datasets and analytics outputs.

Own the end-to-end delivery of technical RADAR programs - including data maintenance, schema designs, and reporting assets - ensuring they are delivered in a timely fashion and meet quality standards. Engage with cross-functional product, engineering, marketing, and sales teams to define analytics requirements, KPIs, and metrics that support key business and product decisions.

Write, optimize, and maintain scalable SQL queries and data models that serve as the foundation for reporting, dashboards, and downstream analytics. Build and maintain modular, reusable data pipelines and transformations using modern ELT/ETL frameworks, delivering clean, analytics-ready datasets across teams. Own the development and maintenance of BI dashboards and self-serve analytics tools, translating business requirements into reliable, production-grade reporting assets.

Implement testing frameworks, data validation processes, and documentation standards that ensure accuracy and trustworthiness across RADAR data products. Automate and optimize recurring data workflows, reducing manual effort and improving consistency and scalability across the data platform. Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to troubleshoot pipeline issues, align on data architecture, and contribute to long-term investments in the RADAR data platform.

Communicate technical work, findings, and data limitations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, enabling confident, data-informed decision-making. Job Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, related field, equivalent professional experience or military experience.

Work Experience Minimum of two (2) years working as a Data Engineer, Analytics Engineer, or in a hybrid or generalist role, with a focus on designing and developing data pipelines and transformation layers. Strong proficiency working in SQL to create scalable and efficient queries that can used to deliver business insights at scale Proficiency in Python, R, or similar programming languages for data analysis and statistical modeling Proficiency working with a modern BI reporting tool such as Looker, Mode, or Tableau Familiarity with infrastructure components, ETL processes, and reporting/analytic tools and environments.

Skills Understanding of the principles of ad measurement, identity resolution, location data and other adtech/martech datasets. Strong ability to manage and execute fast-paced, dynamic projects with a high degree of organization and independence. Ability to perform rigorous data analysis when needed to support high-impact business and product decisions.

Effective communication skills for presenting analysis results to stakeholders, fostering collaboration, and influencing decision-making across teams. Knowledge of Cloud database tools such as AWS, GCP, Azure Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders of data Competencies Analytical Thinking & Problem Solving: Ability to break down complex business questions into structured data problems, applying statistical reasoning and sound analytical judgment to surface meaningful insights.

Technical Proficiency: Strong command of SQL, data modeling principles, and BI tooling, with the ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that scales across the organization. Data Storytelling & Communication: Skill in translating technical findings into clear, compelling narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences, driving understanding and action at all levels.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work effectively across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing teams - gathering requirements, aligning on definitions, and delivering solutions that meet diverse stakeholder needs. Attention to Detail & Data Integrity: A disciplined approach to data quality, testing, and documentation that ensures accuracy and trust in the outputs this role produces.

Other Requirements 5-10% of time will be traveling to client meetings and industry events The Targeted Compensation Range for this New York position is: Min: $84,000 Max: $105,000 Bonus eligible, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
