- Oversees the development of necessary documents for compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and federal and state policies and guidance during project siting, construction, and operations.

- Oversees the conducting of environmental risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential risks.
- Formulates the basis for environmental studies in various fields by analyzing and evaluating relevant data.
- Develops and maintains procedures and programs to assist facilities in complying with environmental laws and regulations.
- Develops professional and scientific methodology to identify and evaluate environmental or occupational hazards.
- Performs regular site visits and field walks to validate current conditions.
