- Supervises facilities staff and oversees contractor and vendor deliverables (e.g., building engineer work, custodial and workplace services) according to performance measures.
- Assigns daily work orders, preventive maintenance tasks, and service requests; monitors completion and quality of work.
- Performs regular walkthroughs of facilities to identify maintenance, safety, or service issues requiring action.
- Ensures compliance with safety procedures, lock-out procedures, hazard communication, and emergency response protocols.
- Coordinates contractor access, escorts, and permits for routine maintenance and repairs.
- Responds to real-time operational issues such as equipment failures, environmental complaints, or access disruptions.
- Provides hands-on coaching, instruction, and corrective feedback to staff on work execution.
- Documents work completion, incidents, and corrective actions in facilities systems.
