Managing Director, C ross E nterprise P rocurement G roup - Secondary Packaging
The Managing Director, Cross Enterprise Procurement Group (CEPG) , leads the Global Secondary Packaging Program for the Coca-Cola system, spanning The Coca-Cola Company, company-owned bottlers, and franchise bottlers across all regions. This executive role owns the full Secondary packaging value chain: Upstream r aw material s (LDPE/LLDPE, Containerboard and Paperboard) , conversion, warehousing, logistics , innovation , sustainability (PCR content shrink/stretch film , plastic replacement multipacks and down gauging packaging material , SBTi adoption, FSC/PEFC requirement ) , supplier strategy, global and regional supply and demand dynamics .
The Managing Director commands a deep expertise in commodity markets, manufacturing processes , suppl y landscape , as well as understanding and managing various risks across the value chain ( macro, regulatory, supply continuity, quality, etc.) .
The Managing Director is accountable for setting system-wide strategy, managing a global category spend of approximately $ 1.4 Bn , aligning Operating Units and bottlers, negotiating at senior levels, developing sustainability roadmaps , developing raw material price & supply risk mitigation plan and ensuring supply continuity and competitiveness across the network.
The Managing Director l eads one CEPG Core Team direct report and manages an extended network of bottler procurement & technical leaders. This role partners cross-functionally with Procurement, Technical, Sustainability, Supply Chain, PACS, Finance, Innovation, R&D, and OU Leadership.
- Lead the end-to-end Global Secondary packaging procurement program.
- Conduct value chain mapping, cost modeling and forecasting , supply/demand analytics, and risk assessments.
- Provide authoritative insights to senior stakeholders.
- Present business plans, cost outlooks, and strategies to the CEPG Operating Committee.
- Ensure cross-system alignment and governance.
- Maintain rigorous confidentiality and data stewardship.
- Lead senior-level supplier negotiations.
- Influence supplier investments, technology upgrades, and sustainability programs.
- Assess supplier performance and future capability.
- Lead Secondary packaging category sustainability strategy aligned with Principles for Sustainable Agriculture
- Drive adoption of Principles for Sustainable Agriculture , and decarbonization pathways.
- Expand supplier participation in sustainability initiatives.
- Ensure aligned strategy execution across all bottlers.
- Drive sourcing events, long-term contracts, and financial delivery.
- Strengthen bottler relationships up to SVP/CPO level.
- Identify innovation in supply chain optimization oppor t unities .
- Monitor global secondary packaging trend s and regulatory changes
- Build long-term strategic options for system competitiveness.
- Develop contingency strategies and long-term capacity planning.
- Monitor commodity and macroeconomics trends affecting shrink/stretch film, corrugated packaging and paperboard packaging .
- Create alternative supply strategies aligned with bottler networks.
- Coach and grow CEPG and system Secondary Packaging procurement capability.
- Improve global collaboration and alignment.
- Promote digital tools and AI for enhanced insights.
- Strengthen analytical visibility into cost drivers and supplier performance.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
- 1 0 + years procurement/supply chain leadership experience.
- Proven global packaging category or multi-regional leadership background.
- Strong influence capability across cultures and seniority levels.
- Supplier negotiation experience at executive levels.
- English fluency; Spanish is a plus.
- Ability to travel up to 5 0%.

This is a global role that collaborates with teams and stakeholders across multiple time zones and requires sign i ficant travel. Flexibility to work outside of standard local business hours, including early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends, might be required to meet business demands.

Pay Range: United States of America: 181,000 USD - 221,000 USD
Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
