ECHO Incorporated is looking for a Cycle Count Group Leader to join our Distribution team! This position is responsible for leading daily inventory control activities by coordinating cycle counting operations, supervising Cycle Counters, ensuring inventory accuracy, managing inventory discrepancies, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
The Cycle Count Group Leader partners with Receiving, Shipping, Production, Materials, and Warehouse Operations to maintain inventory integrity, improve inventory accuracy, and support efficient warehouse operations.
1st Shift Monday-Friday 7:00am - 3:15pm Starting Pay: $18.50/HR (DOE).

- Supervise and coordinate the daily workload of the Cycle Count team.
- Assign daily, weekly, and monthly inventory counting activities.
- Monitor productivity, accuracy, and completion of assigned counts.
- Schedule team workload, vacations, and project assignments.
- Coordinate weekly forklift operator rotation.
- Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to Cycle Counters.
- Monitor progress of ongoing inventory projects.
- Support employee development and continuous improvement.
- Serve as backup for the Inventory Supervisor as needed.
- Coordinate daily ABC Cycle Counts for Finished Goods and Parts inventories.
- Ensure all scheduled cycle counts are completed accurately and on time.
- Prioritize inventory count requests based on operational needs.
- Assign and monitor Ticket inventory requests.
- Coordinate special inventory count requests and vendor audit schedules.
- Oversee RTSCNT inventory counts and monitor completion.
- Investigate and resolve Negative On-Hand inventory prior to month-end.
- Assist with physical inventory counts as required.
- Research inventory discrepancies and coordinate recount activities when necessary.
- Verify inventory variances and prepare inventory adjustment documentation.
- Obtain required approvals for inventory adjustments.
- Ensure accurate inventory transactions are processed within AS400/XA and the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Process Physical Inventory (PH) transactions and verify transaction accuracy before posting.
- Review inventory reports, RTSCNT reports, and Negative On-Hand reports.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation to support audit compliance.
- Coordinate warehouse inventory improvement projects, including Warehouse 3, Molding Insert, and Skid Inventory initiatives.
- Review, prioritize, assign, and update inventory count requests submitted through the Ticket system.
- Identify duplicate inventory requests and consolidate them as appropriate.
- Collaborate with Receiving, Shipping, Production, Materials, Accounting, and Warehouse Operations to resolve inventory-related issues.
- Coordinate Internal Pick Requests and support inventory-related documentation.
- Monitor inventory performance metrics and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Ensure cycle count activities, ABC count schedules, vendor audits, RTSCNT activities, and inventory projects are completed accurately and within established timelines.
- Maintain a high level of inventory accuracy by proactively investigating, resolving, and documenting inventory discrepancies.
- Drive reductions in Negative On-Hand inventory through timely corrective actions and follow-up.
- Maintain inventory records and supporting documentation in compliance with company policies and internal audit requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance inventory accuracy, warehouse efficiency, and inventory control processes.
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 3-5 years of warehouse, inventory control, or distribution experience required.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- English required; bilingual in English and Spanish a plus
- Experience leading cycle count programs and inventory control initiatives.
- Experience operating forklifts preferred.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Experience with AS400/XA ERP system preferred.
- Experience with physical inventories, vendor audits, and inventory reconciliation.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and reporting skills.
