At Blue Origin, we envision millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. We're working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight!
This role is part of the Lunar Permanence business unit, which develops Blue Origin's Blue Moon landers and related products. To further Blue Origin's mission of millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth, we are building sustainable infrastructure for our transport of crew and cargo from Earth to the lunar surface.
As Manager of Software and Hardware Configuration and Data Management within the Mission Management and Integration organization, you will lead a team of configuration and data management engineers and analysts responsible for defining, implementing, and continuously improving Hardware and Software CM practices across Lunar Permanence programs.
You will serve as a discipline lead - owning policies, processes, tools, and training - while ensuring configuration management rigor is maintained across all phases of the development lifecycle for both software and hardware systems. You will be at the intersection of engineering, quality, and mission assurance, building and sustaining the rigorous configuration baselines that our mission depends on.
You will build and sustain a culture that values the criticality of rigorous configuration and data management and its direct role in building safe, high-performing spaceflight systems. Passion for our mission and vision is required!
