Primary Purpose
Owns significant product areas and delivers scalable solutions that integrate user interface, services, and data while improving system reliability and performance. Guides design and implementation choices through deep expertise and cross‑functional collaboration, operating independently except for the most complex situations. The majority of tasks will be performed in Cloud environments and focused on deployment of AI or AI augmented applications.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Establishes agentic development processes for team and ensures best practices are followed.
- Establishes strong end-to-end data governance practices across layers of the stack.
- Works closely with data scientists for DevOPS and FinOPS tradeoff analysis
- Defines technical approaches for features that span multiple services and user interfaces and documents patterns for reuse.
- Designs service contracts and integration boundaries that support clear ownership, reliability, and change isolation.
- Improves application performance and scalability through systematic profiling, capacity analysis, and targeted refactoring.
- Establishes observability practices by specifying logs, metrics, and traces that enable rapid diagnosis and recovery.
- Raises code quality through structured reviews that focus on correctness, maintainability, and security considerations.
- Coordinates complex integration testing plans with quality partners and ensures adequate test coverage for critical paths.
- Partners with product management to refine scope, sequence milestones, and evaluate trade‑offs based on technical constraints.
- Documents architectural decisions and migration plans that reduce operational risk during change.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
