We're seeking a Material Handler who's ready to be part of a company committed to formulating everyday success for every customer through innovative, reliable products used to adhere, seal, and protect at every level of the building envelope.
The Material Handler operates and controls packaging equipment, provides forklift support to operations, ensures packaging area is maintained and replenishes raw materials.
This is a 1st shift position (6AM - 2:30PM ) and the pay rate is $23.79 per hour.
- Follow all Standard Work Instructions and Company Policies
- Alert supervision to product quality or machine operation concerns
- Maintain the 5S standard of the assigned area.
- Operate a forklift in a safe manner.
- Stage/stock materials and accessories in established locations.
- Prepare finished goods for transport.
- Load orders for safe and secure shipping.
- Verify incoming and outgoing loads for accuracy.
- Other duties as assigned

- High School diploma, GED, or Equivalent Work Experience
- Manufacturing experience preferred (demonstrated mechanical aptitude and experience with computer controlled equipment)
- Ability to follow standard work instructions, use measurement tools, blueprints, manuals as needed

Ability to work in an indoor, dusty non-temperature controlled, industrial manufacturing and warehouse environment subject to varying cold and hot temperatures.

Ability to perform occasional outdoor activities in hot or adverse weather.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs including use of lifting assistance devices
- Ability to stand for extended period of time
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, twist, squat, kneel as required
- Ability to operate mobile equipment as required
- This position has the potential to manage and/or handle hazardous materials and hazardous waste.
- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
