Associate's Degree in a technical field (e.g. Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or related discipline) with a minimum 5 years' experience in manufacturing, automation, robotics, technical training, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience developing and delivering technical training programs or on-the-job training is strongly preferred.
Demonstrated ability to develop technical training materials and learning content. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word & SharePoint is required.
Ability to read, interpret, and communicate technical information from engineering drawings, technical manuals, standard operating procedures, and related documentation. Strong technical writing skills with the ability to develop clear training materials, work instructions, and on-the-job training (OJT) documentation. Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills with he ability to effectively deliver classroom and hands-on technical training to employees with varying levels of experience.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, industrial automation, robotics, and continuous improvement principles. Ability to effectively coach, mentor and develop employees in both classroom and hands-on learning environments. Demonstrated technical problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical training.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
Experience with robot-specific programming languages, industrial automation systems, or electromechanical assembly and troubleshooting is preferred. Experience creating technical documentation, work instructions, and standardized training materials is highly desirable.
