Associate Operations Business Analyst - Producer Management (Hybrid)

We currently have an opportunity for an Associate Operations Business Analyst to join our Producer Management team in our Canton, MA office, located at 150 Royall Street. The Producer Management team at Intact is responsible for providing data and analytical support to all Intact businesses to optimize and develop their broker relationships.

As a member of this team, you will provide analytical support through the development of reports and workflows, and system support through the administration of Intact's Producer Management system, our in-house application used to manage broker data and compliance. You will work with IT and Finance to ensure producer data is passed efficiently and effectively throughout the organization.

As an Associate Operations Business Analyst, you will utilize your knowledge of systems and processes to provide instructions, second-tier support, knowledge-based systems maintenance, business specification development, and acceptance testing. You will collaborate with stakeholders and team members to ensure that deliverables meet company standards.

This position has the flexibility to work on a hybrid schedule.

- Leverage system knowledge and established workflows to respond to inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and resolve problems for internal business partners and external broker partners.

- Conducts research, performs analysis, and assists with projects of varying size and magnitude related to broker performance and strategy.

- Coordinates or assists with the development of business requirements for changes/ enhancements to the Producer Management application.

- Develops understanding of interdependencies between various systems (Producer Management, policy administration, claims, portal, etc.) necessary to ensure compatibility of communication and data between systems.

- Assists with special projects that require system expertise, business knowledge and workflow familiarity. Conducts necessary analysis and develops recommendations for actions as requested by management or business units.

- Involved at some level throughout the entire life cycle of projects assigned. Offers alternatives through the process.

- Participates in development of automation/project requests and works with management to ensure compliance of operations procedures.

- Scrutinizes internal information from project meetings such as project status reports and meetings notes as well as external sources. As a result of this analysis, assists with the development of system or process requirements.

- Assists in the development and execution of QA test plans.

- Monitors the process for balancing output to originating data source.

- If assigned, provides second-tier support for lines of businesses, policy writing, billing and/or other applications.

- Supports the creation of dashboards, reports and visualizations to monitor broker performance using SQL, Excel and Power BI.

- Participates as member of a Scrum team, employing the principles of Agile.

- Must be a proven self-starter with analytical, decision making, problem-solving, communication, listening and time management skills. Must have the ability to analyze and interpret data, systems and workflows.

- Strong experience with running queries, reports, and analytics in SQL, with an understanding of relational databases.

- Preferred understanding of scrum principles and practices.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work experience required

- 1-3 years of related experience in production or operations

Our salary ranges are determined by many factors including location, role, experience and skillset of the candidate. The following ranges displayed reflect the target base salary for new hires; however, your recruiter will provide more specific compensation details during the hiring process. The typical base salary range for this position is: $59,000 - $83,000, based on the factors aforementioned.

For candidates located in San Francisco, CA; Washington DC; our Massachusetts based offices and the New York City metro area, the base salary range is $75,000 - $87,000.
