Cary, NC - Behavior Technician

Working in conjunction with a licensed BCBA, the behavior technician will be responsible to serve a caseload of families (1- 4 on average) and work 1:1 with children/young adults (ages 2 - 21) with behavioral disabilities in their home, community, schools, and/or clinical settings (assignments individualized per case).

- Work and play with kids through the implementation of applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques

- Learning about the field of ABA, taking data, and seeing the change you are making in your clients' lives

- Some experience working with children, individuals with developmental disabilities, direct support, education, or a related field - Support with daily living and personal care routines-including toileting, hygiene, and self-care skills-using structured, individualized ABA strategies to promote independence. - Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential preferred but not required - Be at least 18 years of age with some college education in the field; a bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred

- Ability to communicate effectively using both written and verbal skills
