Senior Software Engineer, Payments

What You'll Do - Build alongside a dedicated payments team: consolidate and refactor a payments system assembled from many legacy system integrations - Build and maintain integrations across banking, debit cards, Stripe, SAP, partner advances, payroll, and our billing platform - Own the orchestration and tracking/reconciliation layer across our third-party fintech partners - Design for correctness first, because money movement demands it - Work directly with customers to understand real-world failure modes and edge cases - Partner daily with product to build, ship, measure, and iterate - Build within the laws and regulations governing payments and financial services Who You Are - Senior engineer with a strong payments background and real experience building payment systems and integrations (fintech a plus) - Exceptionally high attention to detail; strong finance background is a plus - Excited to be close to the build and close to customers - Likes working on a small team and moving fast; bias toward action - Comfortable with the regulatory landscape around payments, banking, and cards - Uses AI tools and figures things out independently Compensation &
