- Architects and develops control system designs that integrate advanced automation technologies. - Solves multifaceted system problems by analyzing hardware, software, and process interactions. - Leads cross-functional design reviews and secures alignment on system strategy and implementation. - Develops sophisticated test plans and verification strategies for new or significantly modified systems. - Advises on control system risk mitigation strategies, including redundancy and safety features. - Evaluates new technologies and recommends integration approaches for improved performance. - Provides engineering guidance to project teams and mentors colleagues from multiple disciplines. - Negotiates design solutions and technical tradeoffs with stakeholders, communicating impacts clearly. - Performs other duties as assigned.
