Staff Product Designer

A bit about the Founder: Thejo https://www.linkedin.com/in/thejo/, is a multiple-time founder who previously built Airbase (acquired by Paylocity for ~$400M) and Automatic (YC S11, acquired by SiriusXM for $115M). He has since started his own venture studio, where he is incubating a couple of companies and building the initial teams.

About the Role We’re hiring a Staff+ Product Designer to own product strategy and design! This role will be a major influence on the Product Team, helping strategize and design multiple core assets for our B2B SaaS product.

Responsibilities - Lead end-to-end product strategy and design for one or more product areas (e.g., Ideation/Canvas, Tasks, Onboarding). - Define and challenge product direction, bring strong product thinking to an early, rapidly evolving product. - Produce high-quality, pixel-perfect designs in Figma; create prototypes; and implement designs directly in code when needed. - Help build our design system and visual identity, collaborating closely with the broader team. - Explore and shape the future of product development with AI, contributing ideas and critique.

Skills & Experience Needed - 6+ years of experience in product design or similar role. - Impeccable visual and interaction design skills; deep taste and intuition for what makes a product feel exceptional. - Strong visual evidence of work (portfolio, website, or equivalent). - Ability to proactively define user problems, challenge assumptions, and propose strategic design directions. - Motivated to do the best work of your career, move quickly, and create impact in an early-stage environment. - Excited about AI-enhanced workflows and understand the problems we’re solving. - Open to spending some of the time contributing directly to code to implement prototypes and refine design details.
