Product Engineer

A bit about the Founder: Thejo https://www.linkedin.com/in/thejo/, is a multiple-time founder who previously built Airbase (acquired by Paylocity for ~$400M) and Automatic (YC S11, acquired by SiriusXM for $115M). He has since started his own venture studio, where he is incubating a couple of companies and building the initial teams.

About the Role We are looking for deeply technical Product Engineers who thrive in high-ownership environments and have a strong bias toward building and shipping. This position will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience for our core products.

Responsibilities - Work within the fundamentals - TypeScript, Javascript - Build user-facing applications - Work within small team with end-to-end product ownership - Significantly shape the product and engineering culture as the team grows Skills & Experience Needed - 5+ years of experience in software development and engineering - Prior experience working at early-stage startups, ideally as one of the first ten to twenty employees - Demonstrated success in ambiguous, fast-paced environments - Think and operate like a founding engineer - Quick to adapt and eager to learn, especially in AI-enabled product contexts - A bias for action and fast experimentation - Craftsmanship in software development, with strong attention to detail, performance, and polish - Collaborative, humble, and user-first in thinking - Exposure to mobile app development is a plus
