CNC Steel Fabrication Machine Operator

Shift: 1st Shift
Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced CNC Machine Operator with a background in structural steel fabrication. This role involves operating CNC equipment, working from technical drawings, performing quality checks, and supporting daily production.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC equipment, including combination mill/lathe and drill line machines.
- Produce structural steel components according to blueprints, schematics, and work orders.
- Adjust machine settings to maintain accurate and efficient production.
- Use hand and power tools for machining and assembly tasks.
- Inspect completed work to verify dimensions and structural specifications.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic machine maintenance.
- Enter production information and maintain records in Global Shop (ERP system).
- Follow workplace safety procedures and work effectively with the production team.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in structural steel fabrication required.
- Experience operating CNC equipment, specifically combination mill/lathe and drill line machines.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Proficient with hand and power tools.
- Strong computer skills; Global Shop or similar ERP experience preferred.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and maintain quality standards.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and remain on your feet for extended periods.
Starting Pay: $20/hour (Higher pay available based on experience)
