What You'll Do Estimating & Preconstruction - Review and evaluate incoming ITBs to determine bid opportunities - Prepare detailed plumbing estimates from engineered plans and specifications - Develop scopes, pricing, and bid packages that support efficient project execution - Document and maintain clear bid qualifications for turnover and future reference Operations Partnership - Collaborate with Project Managers on labor planning and project approach - Support RFIs, change orders, and project handoff to field teams - Participate in jobsite reviews to validate scope and assumptions - Help ensure estimates align with real-world execution and field conditions Costing & Analysis - Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing - Utilize Bluebeam and Simpro to develop and track estimates - Analyze estimated vs. actual performance to improve accuracy over time - Support value engineering efforts to improve project viability Process & Continuous Improvement - Maintain and improve estimating workflows, templates, and tools - Track bid outcomes and gather feedback to strengthen future estimates - Support internal teams with estimating-related insights and best practices Relationship Management - Build and maintain relationships with general contractors and vendors - Support preconstruction coordination efforts with clients and partners - Follow up on bids and maintain communication throughout the process
What You Bring - 5+ years of plumbing estimating experience (commercial preferred) - Strong understanding of plumbing systems, construction methods, and project lifecycle - Ability to build accurate estimates while keeping execution and field realities in mind - Experience collaborating with operations, project management, and vendors - Proficiency with Bluebeam (required); Simpro or similar systems a plus - Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple bids simultaneously What Success Looks Like - Delivering consistent, accurate estimates that translate well into field execution - Supporting a steady, well-aligned backlog of work for operations teams - Improving estimating accuracy and efficiency over time - Becoming a trusted partner to both project managers and leadership Benefits &
