Full job description

Job Summary:

Own and guide delivery of strategic roadmap for enterprise customer master data applications and relevant integrations for all consuming systems. Brings strong subject master expertise on customer master data, authoring tool capabilities, upstream and downstream data flows and business use cases of consuming processes and systems.

Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities Global Governance Lead:
  • Establish and define the vision, goals, and roadmap for customer master data maintenance capabilities and strategic integration design
  • Lead stakeholder engagement through deep understanding of business use cases and impacts of customer master data across the enterprise
  • Guide customer master data analysts on prioritization and design of quality monitoring and remediation capabilities required to maintain fit for purpose data
  • Serve as a point of escalation for customer master data governance, data quality and usage issues
  • System Design:

  • Owner of relevant product backlogs and prioritization of development work based on changing business needs through stakeholder input
  • Ensure enterprise alignment with global requirements affecting the development, maintenance, access, use, security, retention, and retirement of customer master data
  • Collaborate with Customer Hierarchy lead to ensure synergistic data solutions that work efficiently and effectively for business stakeholders
  • Integration Design

  • Drive the effective use of customer master data by partnering with consuming systems to design optimal integration patterns that provide quality and timely data that is fit for purpose
  • Collaborate with Customer Hierarchy lead to ensure synergistic integration solutions that work efficiently and effectively for business stakeholders
  • Project Leadership

  • Provide subject matter expertise on proper usage of customer master data for various project stakeholders across the enterprise
  • Guide customer master data analysts on the curation and stewardship of metadata and business glossary terms, as maintained and available in the enterprise data catalog
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree a plus
  • Related Work Experience:

  • 5+ years of work experience in the data management
  • 5+ years of experience in system design, development, and deployment
  • Experience balancing immediate and short-term needs and delivering results
  • Consulting skills, with change management concepts and strategies, including communication, culture change and performance measurement system design
  • Experience with the following technology: MDM (e.g. Informatica), ERP (e.g. SAP), Project Management (e.g. Azure DevOps), Metadata Management (e.g. Microsoft Purview), MS Office365
Skills
  • A fundamental understanding of data governance best practices, business and technology issues related to management of enterprise information assets and approaches related to data protection
  • Ability to work with stakeholders to establish, maintain, and socialize data standards to drive consistency and compliance
  • Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum principles and processes
  • Balance of technical knowledge and business acumen
  • Ability to manage through ambiguity as well as lead change
  • Ability to work across multiple global cultures
  • Project management best practices
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively influence upward and downward across the organization

Pay Range:

United States of America: 164,000 USD - 193,000 USD

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
