As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Driver in Montgomery, AL , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

- Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. - Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites.

Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and employees at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. - Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner. - Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking facilities, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. - Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents according to site procedures. - Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation accurately and promptly.

- At least two years of security-related experience is required. - Be at least 21 years of age. - A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. - Customer service experience is preferred. - Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred. - Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. - Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. - Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. - Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. - A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
