Part-Time School Custodian - Northside Catholic Academy - Vic II

- Wipe and disinfect desks, tables, counters, and high-touch surfaces

- Vacuum carpets and clean hard-surface floors throughout the building.

- Clean hallways, stairwells, entryways, offices, faculty lounges, and other common spaces.

- Lock windows, turn off lights, and help secure the building at the end of each shift, following school procedures.

- Report maintenance concerns, damaged equipment, or safety hazards to the administration.

- Use cleaning products and equipment safely according to manufacturer instructions.

- Assist with occasional special cleaning projects during school breaks or before special events, as requested.

- Maintain a professional, respectful, and positive attitude while working in the school community.

- Previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience preferred but not required.

- Able to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending, reaching, standing, walking, and climbing stairs.

- Must successfully complete a background check and comply with all school safe-environment requirements.

- Approximately 20-25 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

- Opportunities for additional hours during summer cleaning or school events may be available.

This position has an hourly range of $18.50 - $20.50. An employee's pay within the hourly range will be based on many factors including but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and organizational needs.
