Security Officer - Full Time Armed Mobile Response Driver

As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Mobile Response Driver in Leesburg, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer supporting a government location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service.

This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and offers the opportunity to serve with integrity, reliability, teamwork, and a people-first approach.

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access screening protocols, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Operate screening equipment and conduct authorized inspections of persons, packages, and belongings in accordance with established procedures; report prohibited items, irregularities, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site representatives and public protection agencies as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, screening records, and required documentation in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal requirements.

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
