The Purchasing Specialist is responsible for managing the flow of supplies and specialty products across multiple locations to ensure products are available for patient care in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner.
This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm out of our Plymouth location.
- Manages the purchase order process, receiving, and replenishment of all clinical supplies for multiple TCO clinics.
- Continually monitors and manages inventory levels to ensure adequate supplies for daily operations.
- Identify, resolve, and communicate product availability issues to appropriate personnel.
- Assists with value analysis and product trials as requested.
- Oversees and coordinates physical inventory process at the designated sites.
- Manages par levels and maintains accuracy within the inventory system.
- Assists with new user setup, training, and staff questions regarding MotionMD.
- Assists with new clinic/new room set up; Stocking of exam rooms/procedure rooms.
- High School Diploma/Equivalent. Associate degree preferred.
- Minimum two years of experience in materials management related position such as purchasing, inventory management, or hospital supply chain.

- Ability to sit for extended periods (up to 8 or more hours per day).
- Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and handling documents.
- Occasional standing, walking, bending, or reaching within the office environment.
- Ability to lift and carry office supplies or files weighing up to 20 pounds.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, practices, and business ethics guidelines.
- Work at an efficient and productive pace, handle interruptions appropriately, and meet deadlines. Prioritize workload effectively.
- Communicate respectfully and professionally in face-to-face, phone and email interactions. Apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
