This includes repetitive or continuous stooping, twisting, kneeling, walking, standing, lifting/carrying 25 lbs, outside in mild to harsh weather conditions. Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required. A valid driver's license must be submitted to the hiring department at the time of the selection interview.

QUALIFICATIONS: Experience with preliminary, topographic, construction, boundary and control surveys. Familiarity with total stations, data collectors, computers, and computer applications such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ArcGIS, Trimble Business Center, MicroStation/InRoads, or other related software, global positioning system (GPS) receivers, construction staking, design surveys, Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) and other surveying systems are desired for some positions.
Possession of California Land Surveyor-in-Training (LSIT) or California Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification. Certification by score bands will be considered based on analysis of exam results. The resulting eligible list will remain in effect for at least one year. Screening of applicants will be conducted on the basis of application and required supplemental application submitted.
