Experience: 2+ years
- Design rugged avionics enclosures that survive launch and space environments - Partner with electrical engineers to integrate and protect PCB systems - Conduct critical thermal and structural analyses to ensure reliability - Develop technical documentation and engineering drawings - Lead trade studies to find optimal solutions for complex design challenges - Support testing to verify your designs meet mission requirements
- B.S. in Mechanical, Aerospace or similar engineering discipline - 2+ years designing electro-mechanical avionics assemblies - Strong 3D CAD skills (especially Creo/Pro-E) - Experience with GD&T implementation (ASME Y14.5) - Background in ruggedized electronics protection - Knowledge of PCBA integration, manufacturing, and connector selection - Experience with EMI shielding, thermal management, and structural protection - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Thermal/structural analysis for electronics - Solder fatigue calculations (Steinberg/Engelmeier) - FEA tools (ANSYS preferred) - Windchill or similar PLM systems - Harness design (IPC-A-620)
Base Pay Range for: CO applicants is $98,208.00 - $137,491.20 WA applicants is $107,136.00 - $149,990.40

- Required for Certain Job Profiles: Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) background check if at any time the role requires one to be on a military installation
- Required for Certain Job Profiles: Drivers who operate Commercial Motor Vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW), Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) or combination of power unit and trailer that meets or exceeds 10,001 lbs. and/or transports placardable amounts of hazardous materials by ground in any vehicle on a public road while in commerce, may be subject to additional Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations including: Driver Qualification Files, Medical Certification (obtained before onboarding), Road Test, Hours of Service, Drug and Alcohol Testing (CDL drivers only), vehicle inspection requirements, CDL requirements (if applicable) and hazardous materials transportation/shipping training.
- Required for certain Job Profiles: Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical
