As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Inspection in Chantilly, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, observe and report security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service.

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, access points, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and following established escalation procedures.
• Assist with maintaining a professional presence at the location and report maintenance concerns, access-control issues, and other security-related observations to site leadership.

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
