Participate in new-hire orientation and training activities for all assigned employees

Duties:
Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property
Inspect buildings, equipment, and access points
Perform access control and personal property inspections at park entrance and exits, when needed
Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities
Patrol Park grounds and parking lots
Assist the attendants with traffic duties as needed
Enforce the parking lot rules and regulations
Be vigilant and proactively identify potential security risks and threats.
Assist with timekeeping for other hourly security team members
Respond to routine and emergency calls throughout the park property.
Enforce the Park rules and regulations
All other duties assigned by leadership Education and Experience:
High School diploma, GED, or equivalent; Equivalent work experience will also be considered
College degree in Criminal Justice or related discipline desired; Equivalent work experience will be considered
2+ year of previous security, criminal justice, or related experience highly desired Language: Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English; Spanish or other bilingual language skills are a plus.
Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age to comply with [State] Child Labor Laws
Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Must be able to work third shift (overnight) if the park security operates on a 24-hour schedule
Must have reliable transportation to and from your scheduled shift
Must possess a valid driver's license and a good driving record
Ability to safely and efficiently operate motorized vehicles and equipment
Ability to comprehend and carry out verbal and written instructions
Ability to apply knowledge of security methods, procedures, interviewing, listening, and note-taking techniques for specific situations
Ability to deal fairly, objectively, and courteously with the public without regard to race, ethnicity, religion, or political beliefs
Ability to analyze people and/or situations quickly and calmly and take appropriate actions in a quick and effective manner
Ability to operate a variety of electronic equipment, such as cameras, radios, personal computers, or other communication devices
Ability to professionally and calmly deal with stressful and/or tense situations
Ability to collaborate with other team members, external first responders, and emergency personnel during emergency situations
Must possess exceptional customer service skills, with an ability to resolve questions, problems, issues, and concerns in a positive and professional manner

Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, and remain on feet for majority of the workday
Ability to occasionally stoop, twist, kneel, bend, squat, or reach above shoulders
Ability to walk, stand, or run on uphill, downhill, or uneven surfaces.
Ability to remain sedentary for extended periods of time, while using a computer/camera equipment
Ability to carry, push, pull, lift, and hold objects weighing 30 pounds or more
Must have good visual acuity, night vision, and peripheral vision.
Ability to see details of objects that are more than a few feet away Working Conditions:
This role will be based in both an office setting as well as frequent exposure to all other indoor and outdoor park environments
Frequent exposure to the variable outside temperatures, including high heat, cold, direct sun, humidity, dust, rain, snow, ice, and other weather conditions
Subject to dark environments, particularly during midnight shift
Subject to constant repetitive motion, high noise levels, flashing lights, and heavily populated environments
Subject to frequent interruptions and requests that may require reprioritization of activities Team member
