As a Security Officer Screening Operations in Kansas City, KS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a dynamic tech location, helping support access control and other security-related screening activities while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication.

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, screening protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen individuals, bags, packages, and/or personal items at designated entry points in accordance with location guidelines and security-related procedures.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, appointments, and/or delivery information to help support authorized entry into the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document screening-related concerns, unusual activity, and/or policy violations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
