Join Allied Universal as an Armed Officer supporting a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond professionally to concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.

You will contribute to a caring, people-first culture built on agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity while helping create a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and the public.

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, municipal site policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, public concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government buildings, public areas, parking areas, and site perimeters to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Document patrol activity and incidents accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervisors, designated site personnel, and/or emergency responders.

• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
