Accounting Manager

Oversees the Accounting Department and leads financial reporting, accounting operations, and internal controls to ensure accurate financial information and compliance. Manages accounting staff, month-end close processes, tax filings, policies, and cross-functional accounting support while driving process improvements and team development.

Recruits and hires accounting staff and conducts performance evaluations. Coordinates training programs for new staff and identifies needs for current staff.

• Establishes process and procedure for all accounting transactions.

• Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and year-end and consolidated financial statements.

• Reviews subsidiary internal monthly financial statements and Japanese monthly financial reports.

• Audits accounts to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations; coordinates with outside and provides needed information for the annual external audit.

• Coordinates subsidiary and other affiliated company reporting.

• Accounting degree, with Big 4 background preferred, or equivalent business experience.
