Candidates must be located in, or willing to relocate to, Western Pennsylvania or Greater Pittsburgh areas for this opportunity.
- Conduct on-site investigations of claims to gather evidence and determine the extent of damage or loss
- Interview claimants, witnesses, and other parties to gather information and statements
- Inspect damaged property and review repair estimates to determine the validity of claims
- Use sound judgment, discretion and settlement authority to resolve claims through negotiation, settlement or denial
- Prepare and submit detailed reports of claim investigations and findings
- Identify and pursue all subrogation opportunities
- Identify potentially fraudulent claims and promptly refer them to the SIU
- 5+ years of experience in claims adjusting multi-line (Casualty, Liability, Property) and/or field adjusting experience
- Trucking Litigation background is a plus
- Valid driver's license
- Proficiency in claims management software
- Understand basic anatomy, medical terminology and have the ability to decipher medical records and bills

The salary range for this position is $75,000- $150,000 annually. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
