What You Will Do
- Manage a team of structural engineers, including resource allocation, task assignment, and performance oversight and performance planning reviews.
- Develop technical plans and manpower strategies aligned with program requirements, priorities, and milestones.
- Provide structural guidance for product development, improvements, engineering changes, production issues, and investigations.
- Review and approve structural analyses and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with structures discipline managers to maintain alignment and support continuous improvement and AS9100/CORE initiatives.
- Lead employee development through coaching, technical skill building, individual development plans, and policy adherence.
- English (read, write, speak) is required when communicating with customers, co-workers, or supervisors who only speak English.
- Travel is up to 10%.

Qualifications You Must Have
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering
- 8 years of engineering experience or an Advanced Degree with 5 years of engineering experience.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- Problem solving skills using FEM for stress/deflection, vibration, and performing LCF, HCF, Fracture Mechanics or Kinematics analyses.
- Experience with ANSYS, Workbench, CAD and FEA.
- Experience leading teams in the successful execution of tasks to meet technical requirements.
- Capability to work and lead in collaboration with teams located across all GEC.
- Communication, interpersonal, time management and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop staff.
- Analytical and problem solving skills.
- Focus on results and the ability to drive tasks to completion.
