Business Operations Manager (Starlink Platform Integrity)

We are looking for an experienced Business Operations Manager, known internally as Customer Integrity & Threat Detection Manager, to detect, disrupt, and investigate potential misuse of the service-including proactively combating and deterring illicit operators.

This person must strike the careful balance of safeguarding customer information and privacy while applying enforcement measures and executing with an even-handed approach, avoiding overreach and disproportionate collateral impacts.

RESPONSIBILITIES: - Proactively identify and assess platform integrity and abuse risks - Design and develop solutions to priority risks . O wn their deployment and effectivenes s in concert with a wide range of stakeholders - Represent the team in cross - functional groups and in appropriate areas of expertise - Establish yourself as an expert in 2+ relevant investigative techniques, technologies or abuse prevention strategies - Reactively investigate potential issues such as scams , fraud, and illicit goods and activities - Conduct periodic reviews to support legal and compliance obligations - Execute with consideration for customer privacy, targeting activities of indisputable harm and avoiding overreach

BASIC

QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of professional experience in global affairs, intelligence, or investigations; OR 12+ years of professional experience in global affairs, intelligence, or investigations in lieu of a degree - 6+ years of experience with data querying languages (e.g., SQL), scripting languages (e.g., Python), geospatial tools (e.g., ArcGIS), and/or statistical software (e.g., R) - 6+ years of experience investigating, mitigating, or dealing with illicit operators (e.g., fraud, abuse, cybersecurity, or other illicit activities) - 3+ years owning and driving improvements in processes, technology, or other business areas to improve customer integrity or related capabilities PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: - Experience enabling others, influencing organizational decisions, and building consensus around solutions to challenging problems - Strong analytical research and communication skills, including excellent written and oral communication skills - International professional exposure (e.g., working abroad or on global initiatives/businesses) - Experience in cybersecurity operations, threat detection, or vulnerability assessment in high-stakes environments - Experience with research and intelligence analytic techniques, including open-source intelligence (OSINT) data techniques - Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment in a fast-paced, high-tech environment - Highly organized with a strong attention to detail - Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines - Familiarity with U.S. and international economic sanctions and export control laws and regulations ADDITIONAL

REQUIREMENTS: - Ability to travel as needed for business (15%) - This position is based in Bastrop, TX and requires being onsite-remote work not considered - Must be able to work extended hours and weekends as needed ITAR
