Chemours is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer – Manufacturing Technology to join the growing Manufacturing Technology team. This position will be based at the LaPorte, TX site and will report directly to the Manufacturing Technology Manager.
Engineers in this role will be expected to deliver improvements in reliability and preventative maintenance that drive cost and capacity improvements to assigned business lines. This role requires data analysis, Root Cause Analysis, day-to-day troubleshooting in the plant, development of repair plans, and improvement strategies.
The role involves both independent contributions and teamwork with Engineers, Mechanics, Operators, and project teams.
The operating units are highly hazardous processes (OSHA PSM Covered Processes).
