Senior Staff Engineer - .NET

DUTIES: Provide technical and thought leadership to the Technology enterprise. Collaborate with product managers, team members, customers and other engineering teams to solve our toughest problems. Develop and execute technical software development strategy for .Net and other domains.

Hold accountability for the quality, usability, and performance of the solutions. Utilize programming languages/databases and a variety of Azure tools and services across the Software Development Lifecycle. Act as a role model and mentor, help to coach and strengthen the technical expertise and know-how of our engineering and product community.

Influence and educate executives. Share best practices and improve processes within and across teams. Analyze cost and forecast, incorporating them into business plans.

Determine and support resource requirements, evaluate operational processes, measure outcomes to ensure desired results, demonstrate adaptability and sponsor continuous learning. May require pre-hire technical screen. Telecommuting is permitted from anywhere in the U.S.

Multiple positions open. Salary $195,000 to $260,000 per year.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field of study. Ten (10) years of experience as Software Engineer, or related occupation. Ten (10) years of experience with: Software Development within .NET framework.

Seven (7) years of experience with: Building the architecture and design of new and current systems.

Five (5) years of experience with: DevOps Concepts, Cloud Architecture, and Azure DevOps Operational Framework; and Cloud Engineering. Four (4) years of experience with: Azure Network; and Open source frameworks or one of the following: .net Core, asp.Net, Angular, or Express. Three (3) years of experience with: People management or team leadership experience.
