THE WORK:
  • You’ll lead budget tracking, forecasting, invoice reviews, accruals, cash flow analysis, and project risk identification.
  • You’ll develop and standardize cost, schedule, risk, change, and performance reporting processes.
  • You’ll prepare clear financial, schedule, and risk updates for project teams and leadership.
  • You’ll review contractor agreements, change requests, and commercial documentation to identify budget gaps, scope impacts, and early project risks.
  • You’ll coordinate with scheduling, construction, engineering, procurement, finance, and commissioning teams to resolve issues.
  • You’ll lead variance reporting, cash flow forecasting, trend analysis, and leadership reviews.
  • You’ll integrate cost and schedule data to support accurate project reporting and decision making.
  • You’ll monitor performance against approved budgets, schedules, baselines, and key milestones.
  • You’ll identify emerging trends and recommend corrective actions to improve project outcomes.
  • You’ll support consistent project controls practices and provide guidance to project team members.
  • You’ll deliver accurate project controls outputs and actionable recommendations to project and client leadership.
  • You’ll travel to data center project sites as needed.
  • Flexible: The work location for this role will include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client location, project site, or in an Accenture office or center.

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
  • Experience establishing or supporting a Project Management Office or Program Management Office
  • Knowledge of project governance, stage gates, approval processes, decision rights, and executive reporting
  • Experience improving or standardizing project controls processes across multiple projects or stakeholders
  • Experience with project controls digitalization, workflow automation, dashboards, analytics, or integrated reporting
  • Experience evaluating, implementing, configuring, or improving a Project Management Information System
  • Familiarity with Oracle Unifier, EcoSys, Primavera P6, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or similar systems
  • Experience integrating cost, schedule, risk, change, procurement, and financial data
  • Experience supporting project changes, claims, commercial reviews, or contractor negotiations
  • Ability to analyze project metrics and recommend improvements to delivery efficiency and predictability
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
  • 7 or more years of experience in project controls
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or an equivalent practical background
  • Strong knowledge of cost management, forecasting, change control, and project risk
  • Hands on experience with Earned Value Management or resource based project data
  • Experience with data centers, manufacturing, industrial facilities, or complex commissioning projects
  • Strong analytical, communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills
