Security Officer Part Time Screening Post

What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access control protocols, and other security-related policies at a technology-focused location.

Screen individuals, bags, packages, and/or personal items at designated entry points in accordance with post instructions, and help to identify unusual activity or prohibited items for follow-up.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and support site leadership and emergency response activities when appropriate.

Verify credentials, visitor authorizations, and/or delivery documentation, maintain required logs and reports, and communicate screening results or concerns to the appropriate contacts.

Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas near entrances, lobbies, and perimeter access points as directed, noting conditions that may require security-related attention.

Minimum

Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
