ENTRY LEVEL - Maintenance Technician - Swing Shift

Aggregate Maintenance Technician-Swing Shift is responsible for maintaining mining processing equipment in a state of readiness. Performs the appropriate inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance on processing and conveying equipment. Prepares all required daily/weekly department operating reports. (3,500 SIGN ON BONUS)

- Schedules and performs preventative maintenance on plan equipment by following the manufacturer's recommended service intervals and company procedures.

- Maintains an inventory of regularly required replacement parts. Inspects condition and operation of plant equipment and performs necessary repairs and adjustments.

- Performs required emergency repairs on production equipment required to address plant breakdowns.

- Adheres to all safety, environmental and company policies and procedures in completing daily tasks, and completes all required paperwork in a timely fashion.

Required Education :High School diploma/equivalent Required Work Experience: Experience in mechanical repair, installation, and construction in industrial environments. Must have basic mechanical aptitude and general industrial maintenance to include: stick welding, arc welding, lite fabrication, cutting torch, and wrenching (hand tools).

Preferred experience operating a skid-steer, man-lift, and other industrial equipment Computer and Software Skills: Basic computer skills.
