Full job description

HyperX's mission has been to develop a wide array of high-quality peripherals – headsets, keyboards, mice, mousepads, and charging accessories – for the gaming community and beyond. Our award-winning brand is known for consistently delivering products that provide superior comfort, aesthetics, performance, and reliability.

HyperX gear is the choice of celebrities, pro gamers, and tech enthusiasts worldwide because it’s designed by people with a passion for gaming. With over 20 million headsets, one million keyboards, and one million microphones shipped worldwide, we’re just getting started.

Join the global #HyperXFamily and learn how our products can enhance your experience by boosting performance for your PC, consoles, and mobile devices. No matter your skill level, preferred genre, or play style, we embrace gaming enthusiasts everywhere with our core belief — We’re All Gamers.

HyperX builds the peripherals that competitors, creators, and everyday players trust. Headsets, mics, mice, keyboards, controllers, and the NGENUITY software platform that ties it all together. We are a portfolio with serious momentum, a loyal community, and a clear shot at a much bigger future.

At HyperX, we're all gamers and we all bring something valuable to the game. We are always learning, always evolving, and we know that together, we win. We collaborate across functions and time zones in our dynamic global environment, and together we foster a culture where all ideas are welcome, and all individuals are empowered to do their best.

If you are passionate about gaming products and want to help shape the future of gaming peripherals at scale, we want to hear from you.

  • Own the product strategy, roadmap, and portfolio architecture across the full hardware lineup, including headsets, mics, mice, keyboards, and controllers
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Product Managers and Product Coordinators, operating as a manager of managers with both direct ICs and a people-leader reporting to you
  • Drive product lifecycle ownership across all categories from ideation through go-to-market and end-of-life, ensuring launches are delivered on time and in line with business goals
  • Set category direction with intentional product differentiation by staying ahead of technology trends, consumer behavior shifts, and competitive movements
  • Translate consumer insights, market data, and hands-on testing into clear product briefs and compelling roadmap investments
  • Partner closely with engineering, program management, design, and marketing teams globally to deliver products that are both technically excellent and commercially strong
  • Own the long-term roadmap and serve as the accountable voice for hardware portfolio decisions in leadership reviews and cross-functional planning cycles
  • Define user experience targets for each segment and ensure the team designs to them consistently
  • Drive packaging and brief direction in partnership with product coordinators, maintaining a consistent standard of shelf legibility and consumer clarity across the portfolio
  • Evaluate new market opportunities, third-party partnerships, and licensing options that expand HyperX's reach or accelerate roadmap bets
  • Represent the hardware product team as a leader and champion in cross-functional forums, executive readouts, and external partner conversations
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Design, or equivalent experience
  • 8 or more years of product management experience in gaming hardware or consumer electronics, with at least 2 years managing other PMs
  • Demonstrated track record of shipping successful gaming or enthusiast hardware products across the full product lifecycle
  • Proven ability to lead and develop teams, including setting clear expectations, growing talent, and managing performance
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to drive alignment without formal authority across engineering, marketing, finance, and operations
  • Deep knowledge of the gaming hardware landscape, including competitive dynamics, consumer segments, and emerging technology trends
  • Ability to operate effectively in a global environment across cultures and time zones
  • Fluency in both strategic altitude and execution detail, able to zoom out for leadership conversations and zoom in to unblock the team
  • Experience managing a multi-category portfolio with competing roadmap priorities
  • Background in consumer insights or data-driven product development
  • Experience working with overseas engineering and manufacturing partners
  • Business or project management experience across large, matrixed organizations
