Title Claim/real estate work experience preferred with a proven record of strong cross-functional written & verbal communication skills, including, past experience with professionally handling high stress situations and high-volume workload Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing and resolving claims initiated under title insurance policies and products.
• Interprets internal/external business environment
• Retain, monitor, and manage outside counsel and legal representation of insured
• Negotiate settlements and claim resolutions with claimants, third parties and opposing counsel​
• Manages personal caseload including handling matters involving fraud, forgery, missed liens, access issues, easement disputes and more.
• Identify and posture resolved claims for recovery or salvage efforts​
• Performs specialized assignments; solves complex problems and develops non-traditional solutions through sophisticated analytical thinking ​
• Interprets internal/external business environment​
• Recommends best practices to improve processes or services​
• Impacts achievements of customer, operational, project or service objectives​
• Individual contributor working independently; may require guidance in highly complex situations​
• Occasional travel to and participation in mediations, settlement conferences, claim conferences, etc.
• Performs all other duties as assigned by management Education
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred
• Juris Doctorate and licensed to practice law in at least one jurisdiction required Experience
