Cloud Software Engineer-TS/SCI with poly Job Locations US-MD-Annapolis Junction Requisition ID 2026-167913 Position Category Information Technology Clearance Top Secret/SCI w/Poly Responsibilities Responsibilities Peraton is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer to support our Cyber Mission business unit located in Annapolis Junction, MD.

Peraton supports multiple products that automate manual tasks so that mission customers can focus on more complex issues. The team employs Agile methodologies and DevOps principles to ensure that high-quality, reliable software is delivered to the customer. The position is to be performed at contractor facility which allows for flexible work schedules.

Basic

Qualifications: Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required. A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in a related technical field from an accredited college or university is highly desired which will be considered equivalent to two (2) years of experience. NOTE: A degree in Mathematics, Information Systems, Engineering, or similar degree will be considered as a technical field.

Shall have a total of at least 2 years of experience in software development/engineering, including requirements analysis, software development, installation, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, and problem diagnosis/resolution. Experience with Java/Spring/Junit Experience with Git/GitLab

Preferred

Qualifications: Experience with Full Stack development with both front and back-end experience (Java/JavaScript) Experience with JavaScript (React or Vue.js) Experience with JSON Familiarity with Mongo DB Familiarity with ElasticSearch/ELK Familiarity with Redis Familiarity with Docker Familiarity with Docker orchestration (Swarm, Kubernetes) Familiarity with Cloud Computing Services - Amazon Web Services (AWS) Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins Familiarity with Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence) At least one of the following Cloud Developer Certifications is DESIRED: AWS Certified Developer-Associate AWS DevOps Engineer Professional Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)

Target Salary Range $104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
