Full job description

We are seeking a seasoned Associate Director to join our Corporate Finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic storytelling, using financial analysis and modeling to drive insights and influence business decisions. This individual will be instrumental in driving the financial planning and analysis capability across Anduril's core businesses, synthesizing large amounts of data to guide executive decision-making, and optimize financial performance.

- Set the Cadence: Create the financial operating calendar rhythm (monthly, quarterly, annually), internal team templates and deliverables, executive presentation preparation/dry-runs, and engage buy-in and alignment from cross functional partners ahead of executive communications

- Craft the Narrative: Translate complex financial data into compelling strategic narratives for the C-Suite and CFO, explaining the "why" behind our performance, highlighting key trends, and framing insights to drive critical decision-making.

- Be a Strategic Partner: Partner closely with finance leaders in each Division to understand key operational drivers, analyze performance against plan, and provide insightful commentary that adds critical context to consolidated results.

- Build for Scale: Continuously improve and scale our financial consolidation, reporting, and forecasting infrastructure, developing robust processes and models that can keep pace with Anduril's dynamic growth.

- Own the Forecast: Run consolidated budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning. Synthesize business inputs into one financial outlook and surface risks, opportunities, and tradeoffs for leadership.

- Drive Capital Strategy: Partner on capital allocation and corporate finance planning. Evaluate investments, assess returns on strategic initiatives, and help leadership balance growth, efficiency, and discipline.

- Run the Corporate Finance Engine: Lead planning, cash flow, and performance management so leadership has a forward-looking view of the business and the financial implications of every strategic decision.

- 10 years of relevant experience in Investor Relations, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance/FP&A, Consulting or Strategy.

- Strong financial acumen and proficiency in Excel/financial modeling.

- Exceptional written and oral communication skills, strong executive presence and the ability to work seamlessly cross-functionally.

- Intellectually curious - you seek to understand the why behind the numbers and dive into the operations as needed.

- Creative problem-solver - able to identify obstacles, present viable solutions, and create systems to improve future processes.

- Strategic storytelling with message discipline; crafting clear, executive ready narratives leveraging multiple datasets.

- Action oriented with end-to-end process ownership and high-quality work despite tight deadlines.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Business, or related field.

- Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities.
